Won dismissal of an indictment against a client charged with Robbery and Impersonation of a Police Officer. People v. Martinez, County Court, Nassau County. Subsequently reported in Newsday.
Obtained dismissal of criminal NYS Labor Law Charges regarding prevailing wage issues against the individual owners of a publicly regulated demolition company. People v. Eric E. et al., County Court, Nassau County.
Won dismissal of criminal contempt charges against our client based on a judicial finding that a prior court order and our client’s alleged conduct did not constitute a crime. People v. Kiel, Nassau County (Reported in the New York Law Journal, May 31, 2010)
Obtained dismissal of fraud charges brought by the NYC Dept. of Investigations against individual defendants working as public expediters before the NYC Dept. of Buildings. County Court, New York County
Secured an investigatory determination of no criminal conduct by individuals and corporate entities following an investigation by the Office of the United States Attorney (E.D.N.Y.).
Won complete dismissal of felony charges of firearms possession against our client. In addition we were also able to secure of court order issued by a Queens County Judge directing the return of the firearms to our client. People v. Christopher H., County Court, Queens County.
After our client, a medical professional, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of felony assault, his arrest was reported in Newsday, resulting in his suspension from public employment. We were able to have his employment suspension lifted and obtained a non-criminal disposition resulting in the sealing of the record of his arrest. People v. V., County Court, Nassau County.
